About Your Appointment:
Please arrive on time to ensure you receive your full service. If you are running late, we will do everything we can to accommodate you. If you are excessively late, please keep in mind that we may have to reschedule your appointment.
We regret that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage of personal articles or valuables. If you prefer to keep your jacket with you instead of hung up in our coat closet, please let us know.
Should a cancellation or date change be necessary, we request a minimum of 24-hours notice. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice that it considered a “no-show”. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice 3 or more times, you will be required to pre-pay for your next appointment, and your account will be debited $25 per “no-show”. While we do understand that things happen in life and we do our best to be cooperative, please keep in mind that employees in our industry work off commission. A last minute cancellation is the same thing as a “no-show” and is nearly impossible to fill with another client. When employees work off commission, no clients means they don’t make money. We only enforce these policies when people start taking advantage of our employees. Please be respectful of their time!
We do our best to make sure that all appointments are confirmed either via text, email, or phone call, but as we all know sometimes technology can fail us. Please let us know if your selection for receiving confirmations changes at any time or if you are not receiving your confirmations.
We do not accept cancellations via text or email. These appointment reminders are automatically computer generated and cannot be replied to. Please call us with 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Not giving 24 hours notice will mark you as a “no-show”.
Tipping is left to the discretion of our clients. However, all tipping must be done in cash; tips cannot be added onto credit card charges due to new IRS tip reporting procedures. You want your tip to go to your hairstylist, not to the IRS, so giving in cash is the best way to ensure that happens! We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Gift certificates do not include gratuities.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash and debit cards. We do not accept Amex or personal checks.
At Head Candy you will receive a complimentary quick blow-dry with all color services. If you wish for a full professional blow-out after your color service you will be booked in accordingly, and will receive your professional blowdry priced according to your stylist.
**** Please note: a single process service does not include an additional glaze for refreshing faded ends. If waiting more than the standard 4-8 weeks for a touch up, a full color application, or an additional glaze may be required.
Consultations are always free and recommended if you have any questions or concerns and walk-ins are welcome!
If you are unhappy with your Bumble & Bumble product purchase for any reason, you may return or exchange it within 30 days of purchase! The return of DS Labs products is done directly through DS Labs by returning your product and original receipt directly to them. The information can be found on your original product packaging.
Although we strive to go above & beyond to make sure that our clients are 100% satisfied with the services that we provide, we understand that we simply cannot make everyone happy all of the time. What we offer is a personal service performed by a human, not a manufactured product or an exact science. Head Candy does have a policy that we will not refund services but we will gladly redo the services within 10 days at zero cost to you if you are ever unhappy, even if you choose to use a different stylist. If you are not 100% happy with the services you received at Head Candy, please contact Robin Dorton or Chrissy Davis and we will have it redone for you as soon as possible!
Bright semi-permanent colors (pinks, purples, Manic Panic, etc, are meant to wash out of the hair within a few weeks and will sometimes wash out immediately when colored over hair that is very fine or porous and has just gone through a prelightening process, especially if the proper shampoo is not used, along with cool water. Head Candy has a policy that we will happily recolor these bright colors on the original areas ONE time, within 10 days, minus the cost of product where applicable (Manic Panic). After that a product charge and toner charge will apply.
